As someone with thinning hair I do all I can that MIGHT help. That’s Minoxidil on the outside and on the inside it’s Biotin. This Natrol product delivers a stellar 5000 mcg of Biotin and also includes Lutein an herb championed in the hair loss community which concurrently protects eyes from excessive computer use.I have some evidence it might be working: I have a brother three years my junior and his once-thicker hair has gone the way of the Dodo while my strands are still up there battling.In the case of hair loss we just do all we can and hope for the best. I like taking these my hair was falling out because I over processed it and my hair was growing back within 2 weeks when my hair was wet I could see all the new hair standing. Great product .

Warning READ “Other” ingredients carefully!I I THOUGHT I DID! This product contains rosemary extract for some brain dead “natural” reason I expect. Rosemary and all other evergreens are extremely toxic to me! I took these at bed time for ~ 10 days: IBS triggered & I couldn’t figure out why minor scratches & bruise stopped healing reflux & night sweats started up also mouth felt puffy(anaphylaxis indicater). So I rechecked EVERYTHING in house that was scented all pills/meds & all foods – was rather shocked when I found this was the culprit! I’ve been using their Biotin product forever. Now I’m switching away from all Natrol products. Scary! If there was just a bit more Rosemary or took it one more time or I missed one of my reaction suppressant meds at night I could have died in my sleep!!

I’ve used Natrol for a while now and I like that this has Lutein also. This brand is free of various things that other brands aren’t which is important to me. The only thing I didn’t like was that all of the other Biotin pills I’ve taken were small and had no taste—these are like caplets or something like that and have a weird taste. But I’ve been taking medicines and vitamins forever so it’s definitely not a deal-breaker. I take Biotin for my skin nails and my hair which falls out (side effect of medications). It really helps. If taking a large dosage like 10000 mcg or even the 5000 mcg you might experience acne. I switched from 10000 to 5000. Natrol has various dosages and ways to take it!
